أَبُو الْكَلاَمِ آزَاد
Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was born in Makkah in 1888. His father’s name was Khairudeen. He initially stayed in Delhi, when British domination and injustice became raised in India...In 1787 Khairudeen Migrated to Makkah as a refugee.
He stayed there for some
years. There are he met Makkah’s Islamic Scholar (mufti). Then the Makkah’s Islamic
Scholar (Mufti) liked activities of Khairudeen and his Knowledge, after this were
married his sister's daughter to him. Subsequently, Khairudeen returned to India with his wife
and child (Maulana Azad) and lived in Calcutta.
Maulana Abulkalam Azad
learned the Qur'an, learned
Arabic, Parsian, and Urdu from many Ulama, and He learned Islamic knowledge
from his father.
Sir Syed Ahmad Khan is the
founder of the Alighar Muslim University in Uttar Pradesh. He was interested on
Education of Muslims in English and Science.
He has written many articles about it, Maulana Azad who read some of
them, Inspired by it, he started learning English.
At this time, the
independence of India was intensified, Maulana Azad participated in it, at that
time Mahatma Gandhi was the leader of the national freedom struggle, Maulana Azad also became a
leader in the field of freedom struggle, many of time were imprisoned by the
Government of English in India, and they became a famous politician.
Maulana Azad was a great
personality, energetic man, strong, politician, mediator, comrade, and
effective speaker. They were a
prominent politician in Indian politics and played an important role in the freedom
of the country. His Sure name was Muhyiddin Ahmad, though all were called by
Maulana Abulkalam Azad.
The independence of the
country was August 15, 1947 and was appointed Minister of Education since 1947.
He was served his life to the service of
his nation and the benefit of his Islamic community.
Maulana Abulkalam Azad was
an expert in Islamic religion, most books are written by them. Famous one is The Tharjumanil Qur'an, the first Urdu
translation of the Qur'an, In Tharjumanil Qur'an have provided the necessary Quotations for the
Quranic verses, Also, Maulana Abulkalam Azad were writing and writing two
different Urdu magazines, Hilal and Palah.
Maulana Abulkal Azad died
in 1957. His body has been cremated near the Delhi Juma Masjid.
